Changes In Video Production Activity And DevelopmentA summary of the characteristics considered in projects is presented in Table 8. Each characteristic represents areas that are indicative of development, but development itself is reflected in all the characteristics and the way they relate to one another and the constraints of production. Development can best be observed by examining how their expression changes from one project to another, though the expression of a characteristic would vary with the genre and context as well as student development. To consider video as a tool for communication, these qualities must somehow be brought into dialog with one another and the contexts of production. The surprising result is that indications of overall development can occur even as one or more characteristics becomes worse over time. |
