Lentas, Greece

Lentas' Lion
This is the lion that Cleapatra supposedly left behind. It's a nice climb, but beware of the sheep and the heat.
The beach and the village are there to the right, and a larger beach is just on the other side of the lion.

Below are surrounding views. On the left is the view facing the other direction from the photo above, and on the right is the village from the foot of the lion.

View From the Point      Lentas From Above

The beach is small but protected (left), a great place for serious swimming,  and the Church (right) just above the village is surrounded by Roman Columns and sits next to a Minoan Temple. It is around 500 years old.

Irini's Rooms

The rooms are in two buildings on either side of a narrow road. Flowers and trees surround them.
The village spreads out just beneath the rooms.
